If you are someone who loves music that makes you feel happy and joyous and carefree, then you are probably familiar with the fact that Jason Mraz and Sara Bareilles are good friends.
Bareilles, of course, is known for hit tracks like “Love Song” and Mraz is popular for his chart-topping hits, “I’m Yours” and “The Remedy.” Both are also award-winning singer songwriters and now they are teaming up.
Bareilles has also made waves recently with her new production on Broadway, which is an adaptation of the movie, Waitress, which starred Keri Russell. Bareilles will be returning to the stage in January to play the lead role opposite Jason Mraz, who just recently joined the cast for his first ever Broadway acting gig.
While promoting the show on an episode of NPR’s game show, Ask Me Another, Mraz revealed that he thinks he might retire from music after he releases his sixth studio album. Fans would certainly be devastated by this, but Mraz reassured them that he would still make music, but it would just not be for major studios.
That is a big sigh of relief for everyone who loves Mraz’s music because it is just so inordinately pleasing to the ear.
