A woman from Cedar Rapids in Iowa, Bridget Kuhlman, suffers from cerebral palsy. Because of this, driving is impossible and walking for long distances is almost impossible.
As a result, Kuhlman was forced to ride a three wheel bike that is specifically made for people in her condition to her job at the local Arby’s.
Sadly, just a little bit ago, someone decided to break the lock that was on her bike and steal it, leaving Kuhlman devastated in its wake.
Kuhlman said to the local news that she started crying because she did not know how she would get to her job now that her tricycle had been stolen.
Kuhlman was soon crying for a different reason, though, because she learned that her boss at Arby’s began a fundraiser online so the money could be raised to buy her a new bike.
Angie Takes, the manager of this Arby’s, asked for people to contribute to the page on GoFundMe that sought to provide Kuhlman with another specific bike, as well as lights and a bike lock. In response to this?
Over one hundred and fifty people donated, collectively, over four thousand dollars. This is definitely such a heartwarming story!
